This all-girl team graduated from the Mapua Institute of Technology and was the Grand Champion of the 8th SWEEP Awards in 2012.

The team developed a specialized mobile phone called the Braille Cellphone and Wearable Obstacle Detection System, which also uses a SIM card, that allows blind and partially sighted people to receive and ‘read' text messages via the Braille system.


  • Won first prize in a pitching contest during the Launch48 Lean LauchPad training. The team will be going to Singapore.
  • The company is now officially registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Currently in final stages of testing of its Wearable Obstacle Detection System i(WODS).
  • The developers are in talks with an angel investor from Israel.
